WILSS is a charitable trust delivering a range of programmes to enhance personal development and help build better leaders in the community, the volunteer sector and the workplace.

Since 1989 we have built a reputation for providing a supportive learning environment, first class facilitators and industry contacts across New Zealand. We have strong relationships with key organisations, ensuring our participants benefit from industry experience, practical skill application and the development of employment networks.

Our organisation is registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and our certificates are nationally recognised. WILSS has been designated as a Category 2 Provider by NZQA as they are confident of our educational performance and self-assessment capability.

WILSS has active working partnerships with the University of Waikato, Sport Waikato, Community Waikato, NZQA, and other leading industry groups.

We advocate a practical teaching approach that builds on participants skills.

Programmes are rewarding, practical and immediately applicable to real life and can lead to paid positions, further study and/or training and personal development.

We are in our 33rd year of operating and we feel very proud to be still providing volunteer and leadership education to the changing communities of Aotearoa New Zealand.
