Introduction

The Waikato Institute for Leisure & Sport Studies (known as WILSS, pronounced 'WILLS') has been delivering education in the Waikato region for past 18 years.  We are a charitable training provider registered with NZQA offering a range of programmes designed to enhance personal development and increase participants' contribution to sport and leisure.

Our programmes can start or continue you on the pathway towards paid positions within different industries, or inspire you towards further tertiary study.  We have strong relationships with other key organisations within the sport and recreation industry to ensure that  you will benefit from industry experience, practical skill application and develop employment networks. This will ultimately ensure you are more qualified for your current position or make your next step even easier.
