About Us

OUR AIM 
To deliver quality education to provide opportunities in leadership and volunteer activities that meet the changing needs of our communities.  Our communities include; schools, sport, communites and workplaces. 

We endeavour to make our courses as suitable and rewarding to participants as we can by providing education that builds on personal experience and that is immediately applicable to real life situations.

Organisational Values
The organisational values governing Wilss’ development will include the following:
· People with the appropriate skills and expertise are central to all aspects of the professional and academic developments coordinated by the Institute.
· A safe environment is encouraged with open communication and the sharing of ideas between all stakeholders of the Institute.
· A close and positive working relationship that encourages efficient use of human and physical resources between all stakeholders who contribute to the Institute. 
 
OUR STRUCTURE
WILSS is a charitable trust that has been delivering education in the greater Waikato region since 1989.  Our board members include Clive Hamill (Chairperson), Bill Ussher, Mike Maguire, Jennifer Palmer, Geoff Balme, Graeme Olorenshaw and Rachel Saunders.   We have five staff members, two contracted resource writers and over 56 fantastic contracted facilitators.
