Headz Up

Help your head prefects to become more confident, effective leaders by developing their skills in areas relevant to their role as a representative, liaison and leader in your school and wider community.
The Headz Up day is designed specifically for Head Students to enable them to explore and develop their individual leadership qualities and then implement them throughout their school and wider communities. Headz Up helps prepare students to present their leadership in action in their own community as well as other schools - they can demonstrate pathways of leadership to younger leaders. The programme also provides ongoing support through an online learning system where students can access more leadership resources and at the same time, network with leaders in similar roles from other schools.

What the participants said about the Headz Up day:“Headzup was a perfect start to the year ahead as a senior student leader. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of such an awesome day, I know I personally took a lot from it. Best of luck to all the future leaders! It’s a bit like out with the old and in with the new...I don’t really want to leave but at the same time am really excited as to where I may lead next!” Peter, Student HEADZ UP |
