Live Large
Holiday Programme
The OSCAR approved Live Large holiday programme is a unique mix of activities, for young people aged 11-13 years, with a basis in business concepts, technology, environmental awareness, personal development and exposure to career options.
Live Large is a high value, high input leadership programme that is fun, challenging, educational and relevant. We get organisations, businesses and people involved who will encourage the growth, learning and empowerment experience for the children attending.
Each day a different element is explored - air, heart, water, fire and earth - through interactive articipation and fun. The programme is all about growth - in confidence, self-belief, learning and motivation. Add a large dose of fun and fabulous activities, not to mention some challenging adventures, and you have Live Large, a nurturing ground for the next generation of leaders.
Core components
Emphasis is placed on empowering children aged 11-13 to realise their strengths, maximise their potential and relish learning in a dynamic, supportive environment. Live Large interfaces young people with community and business leaders.
Dates for 2013:
Term 1 - 29th April - 3rd May
Term 2 - 15th - 19th July
Term 3 - 30th September - 4th October

"Kegan was a little apprehensive about joining Live Large but after attending, found it was great. He had been attending holiday programmes which (although enjoyable) were getting babyish for him.
