I am currently the Prem Reserve Coach at Rototuna High School in Kirikiriroa. My role as a coach extends beyond teaching netball; it's about sharing my knowledge of the game, providing motivation and inspiration, and creating opportunities for the girls to become the best players they can be.

 At Rototuna High, there is a strong emphasis on developing coaches, and this course was recommended to me by the school.

 After missing out last year, I was thrilled to secure a place this year, 2025, for my second year coaching this team. This course exceeded my expectations. It provided the opportunity to listen to experts, observe examples of effective and ineffective coaching, and interact with coaches from various sports, offering diverse perspectives and an appreciation of different challenges.

Most importantly, it challenged me to reflect on my own performance, set a vision for the coach I aspire to be, and realign my coaching style accordingly.

 Lastly, my confidence in my own abilities has increased tenfold, and I owe this to the course, the participants, and the tutor.
