Our purpose statement is “Build the capability of sport and active recreation leaders and volunteers". We do this in schools, sports clubs, community groups, volunteer organisations and workplaces. Our work predominantly focuses on the development of effective leaders and volunteers who are contributing to their communities through their paid or volunteer roles. In 2019, WILSS delivered programmes to over 8,500 participants.
We are an accredited New Zealand Qualifications Authority provider and accordingly our strategic plan, policies, procedures, business plan and reporting criteria are well established. WILSS is also a registered Charitable Trust.
Wanted... People with Passion and Knowledge.
Are you a great coach developer, sport administrator or leadership educator, and interested in sharing your knowledge with others?
We are always on the lookout for people to add to our pool of contracted facilitators.
We are looking for facilitators that would be able to work during the week on our programmes in schools and in the community on a casual basis. If you have a teaching or facilitation background, even better!
